The problem
I often switch to another album before finishing the one I’m listening to. When I come back later, I no longer remember which track I reached or where I stopped. I wanted a simple way to keep that place for every unfinished album.
A place to return to
AlbumMark sits in the Mac menu bar and keeps track of the album playing in Apple Music. It saves unfinished albums with the current track, playback position, and album progress, keeping a separate bookmark for each one.
The popover brings Now Playing and Continue Albums together. Each saved album shows its artwork and progress, with a control to resume listening. Finished albums are hidden at a configurable threshold, keeping the list focused on what is still in progress.
How it works
Start an album in Apple Music, listen for a while, and move on whenever you like. AlbumMark stores the progress locally. When you want to return, open it from the menu bar and choose the saved album to resume from your last position.
Album tracking works most reliably with albums added to your Apple Music library. Resume behavior depends on the track information Music.app makes available; some streaming items and incomplete metadata can limit tracking or playback.
